Artist Launch: Bharti Prajapati

I’m delighted to introduce Bharti Prajapati to the Neev by Neha collection.

Bharti reimagines Indian folk traditions through a contemporary lens. Her work feels elemental — inspired by nature, feminine energy, and the quiet rhythm of life. Earth tones, rich reds, and unexpected indigos move across her canvases with fluid grace, creating compositions that feel both rooted and luminous.

Two of her paintings are now available to view at the gallery, and I’m excited to present them in San Francisco as well.

Navratri | Oil on Canvas | 60 x 42 Inches

Sun Stories | Oil on Canvas | 36 x 38 Inches

Gallery Walls with Kapil Anant

It has been incredibly rewarding to see Kapil Anant continue to gain recognition. For three consecutive years, his work has been highlighted at major Indian art platforms — a testament to the strength and authenticity of his voice.

Kapil’s paintings, inspired by rural India and everyday life, carry nostalgia without sentimentality. They bridge heritage and contemporary expression in a way that feels timeless — something collectors increasingly value.

New Works by Artist: Dinkar Jadhav

Celebration - Acrylic on Canvas | 36 x 48 Inches

Celebration II - Acrylic and Gold Leaf on Fiberglass

Sculpture Spotlight, Artist GS Soni

This month, we are proud to highlight a distinctive sculptural series by Gourishankar Soni. In this body of work, the humble firki charkhi — a wooden reel traditionally used to hold kite strings — is transformed into a striking canvas for heritage and storytelling. Through intricately hand-painted motifs of Indian architecture, spiritual icons, and cultural symbols, Soni elevates a childhood object into a compelling contemporary artwork.

Titled Ancestral Threads, the series beautifully captures the essence of memory, tradition, and play — reminding us how everyday forms can be reimagined as timeless art.

What makes this series especially compelling is its originality. The Spool works have gained attention for their uniqueness — blending sculpture, painting, and nostalgia in a format rarely seen in contemporary Indian art. Collectors are drawn to the dimensionality, craftsmanship, and the emotional connection the form evokes.

Whats ahead..

With our March exhibition around the corner, I’m curating with intention — bringing together works that speak quietly yet powerfully within a home.

Alongside Bharti Prajapati’s new paintings, we’ll also be presenting new works from Gourishankar Soni, including his striking Spool series. These layered compositions explore texture, dimension, and repetition — transforming everyday forms into sculptural, almost meditative visual experiences.

If you’d like to explore recent additions to the collection or any other works, I’d love to welcome you for a private viewing. Simply reply to this email to schedule an appointment!
