Building Neev: From Vision to Reality
A few years ago, I dreamt of creating a space where Indian art could be celebrated on a global platform—a space for stories, connections, and creativity to come alive. That dream first took shape as a small passion project—what would eventually become Neev by Neha. On September 10, 2023, I formally founded the gallery with a clear mission: to promote art and amplify the voices of both emerging and renowned Indian artists in the U.S. and beyond.
Today, Neev has grown into a platform that has curated paintings and sculptures from over 30 Indian artists, brought contemporary voices into Bay Area homes, and built a warm community of collectors, friends, and supporters.
This journey has been nothing short of incredible—and it’s only the beginning! |

Sculpture Spotlight |
This month, we are proud to highlight a unique series of sculptures by artist GS Soni, where the humble firki charkhi—a reel once used to hold kite strings—becomes a striking canvas for heritage and storytelling. Through detailed hand-painted motifs of Indian architecture, spiritual icons, and cultural symbols, Artist transforms a childhood object into a contemporary artwork.
Ancestral Threads beautifully captures the essence of memory, tradition, and play—reminding us how everyday forms can be reimagined as timeless art. |
