Exhibition Update: New Date/Location
We hope you enjoyed the Diwali festivities and had time to celebrate light, love, and togetherness.
We’re sad to share that a critical maintenance issue has come up at our San Francisco venue, and as a result, the upcoming exhibition in San Francisco has been postponed.
But the good news — we’re bringing the experience home to Los Altos!
As we ease back into calm and creativity, we’re thrilled to welcome you to our Los Altos gallery for a showcase of contemporary Indian art.

New Artist to our collection: Umakant Kanade
We’re delighted to introduce Umakant Kanade, an acclaimed contemporary artist whose intricate black-and-white landscapes evoke harmony, rhythm, and meditative calm.
Working with a crow quill and ink — a rare traditional instrument once used by calligraphers — he creates delicate worlds of stones, trees, and birds, each rendered through thousands of fine, patient strokes.
A single touch of color, like a flower or bird in flight, often illuminates his monochromatic scenes with quiet vitality. His art beautifully captures the balance between stillness and energy — a perfect reflection of the exhibition’s theme, In Essence.

New Artist to our collection: Basuki Das Gupta
We are excited to introduce the acclaimed Basuki Das Gupta, whose works resonate deeply during the season of Durga Puja.
His art reimagines Durga not just as a goddess, but as every woman — multitasking, resilient, and radiant. Inspired by evenings of chai and shared stories, his canvases celebrate strength, sisterhood, and the many hands of women holding it all together.
