A Divine April | Pichwai Art Spotlight | Thank You for Coming!

Dear Friends,

Reflecting on my journey, it's hard to believe that nineteen years have passed since I first arrived in the U.S. on April 6, 2006. The path has been unexpected and rewarding, leading to the creation of Neev by Neha, a Contemporary Indian Art Gallery in the bay area and the formation of an incredible community of art lovers and enthusiasts like you.

We’ve enclosed a link to our updated Gallery Catalog where you can explore our new collection!

Thank you for making our last exhibition: Symphony of Colors - A huge success!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support and enthusiasm you showed during our recent exhibition, held over two weekends in March. From the private preview to the engaging conversations and thoughtful art acquisitions, your participation made it truly special. Hosting over 200 guests across both weekends was heartwarming and reinforced the growing interest in contemporary Indian art.

April Spotlight: The Divine World of Pichwai Art

We are excited to announce the addition of Pichwai Art to our gallery's collection. Originating over 400 years ago in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, Pichwai paintings are intricate artworks traditionally created as temple backdrops for Shrinathji, a revered form of Lord Krishna. These masterpieces are celebrated for their vivid colors and detailed motifs, embodying profound spiritual and cultural significance. Crafted using natural pigments and meticulous handwork passed down through generations, Pichwai art offers a timeless glimpse into India's rich artistic heritage.

“These are not just paintings — they are prayers on cloth, woven with meaning, mythology, and devotion.”
