Artist Details
Dhirendra Mangde is a distinguished contemporary fine artist based in Indore, India. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (1995) and Master of Fine Arts (1997) from the Fine Arts College in Indore. Over the years, he has participated in multiple group exhibitions and solo showcases, gaining recognition for his distinctive artistic vision.
Mangde’s work explores both figurative and abstract expressions, with a strong emphasis on Indian heritage architecture. Inspired by the grandeur of historical forts and ancient structures, his art serves as a bridge between the past and present, preserving cultural narratives through intricate compositions and textures.
His artworks are part of prestigious collections, including Rupankan Bharat Bhawan, Bhopal, and SCZCC, Nagpur, along with numerous private collections in India and abroad. His recent participation in World Art Dubai 2024 reflects his growing international presence. Additionally, his work was selected for the India Art, Architecture & Design Biennale 2023, an esteemed event organized by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, held at the Red Fort in Delhi.
