Mohammed Suleman
Artist Mohammed Suleman was born in Uttar Pradesh in 1981. He is renowned for creating intricate and vibrant acrylic paintings that explore diverse forms of the god Ganesh and cows, both sacred to Hinduism. He employs bold colors to convey energy and spiritual significance, coupled with a sophisticated detailing that invites viewers to delve into the complexity of each piece. This signature combination is more than just visually stunning. It captivates viewers with a spiritual resonance and deepens their appreciation of these revered Hindu deities and symbols.
He discovered his passion for art at a very young age. He obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2005 and his Master of Fine Arts in 2007 from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (U.P.). Along the way, he was awarded several scholarships, such as the Government of India Ministry of Culture (National Scholarship 2005-2007), State Lalit Kala Academy (U.P) 2006, and Research Grant Scholarship by the National Lalit Kala Academy of India, New Delhi 2008-2009, as well as a Junior Fellowship from the Government of India, Ministry of Culture, New Delhi 2010-2012.
